It is truly an honor and privilege to serve as President of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Philadelphia Alumni Chapter. As a proud graduate of our illustrious HBCU, I am deeply grateful for the education, lifelong friendships, and opportunities that my alma mater has provided. It is a privilege to give back to the institution that helped shape who I am today.

Our chapter is built on a strong foundation of service, scholarship, and fellowship. Together, we are committed to supporting students, uplifting small businesses, strengthening community networks, and fostering meaningful connections among our alumni while advancing the legacy of our beloved university.

I believe that when alumni unite, we create opportunities that extend far beyond ourselves. My vision is to continue the work of the chapter, inspire greater alumni engagement, help increase student enrollment, expand scholarship opportunities, partner with local charities, and champion the growth of small businesses within our communities. I am especially passionate about investing in the next generation by mentoring, encouraging, and creating pathways that help our young people realize their full potential.
As we move forward together, I invite every alumnus and associate members to become an active part of our mission. Whether through volunteering, mentoring students, attending events, supporting our initiatives, or sharing your talents, your involvement makes a lasting difference.
Together, we will continue to honor the rich legacy of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore while building an even stronger future for our students, alumni, and communities.

Help Us Continue Our Mission!
In the Summer 2025, we were able to assist a student from the Philadelphia area with a scholarship to help cover a back bill so that she could return to UMES for the Fall 2026 semester. This is just one major example of how your money can help. Donations can also help us cover our community outreach events. Community means a lot to our chapter and because of that we are very active with local charities. Your donations will also help us to help families in need around the holidays.
